JPMorgan Chase's 2027 Chase Leadership Development Program (CLDP) Summer Analyst — the Consumer & Community Banking leadership track (Columbus, Wilmington, Plano), not Investment Banking — closes December 1, 2026 at 8:00 AM Eastern. It's rolling, so treating December 1 as your target date is a losing strategy. London IB applications opened back in July–August 2026 and have been filling seats ever since.
When do applications open and close?
United States (CLDP Summer Analyst 2027): Closes December 1, 2026 at 8:00 AM Eastern Time. Review is rolling — earlier is strictly better. Heads-up: this is the Chase leadership/consumer-banking program, not the IB summer analyst track — the main US IB summer analyst 2027 cycle ran early in 2026 and is largely closed.
London (UK, Investment Banking): 2027 applications opened in July–August 2026, also rolling. No single published close date; divisions shut postings as classes fill. Check the official JPMorgan careers page for whether your target division is still open.
The rolling trap
"Deadline December 1" does not mean "apply December 1." JPMorgan sends HireVue invites in waves starting from the day applications open. By November, many desks have already interviewed — and in some cases extended offers to — early applicants. Applying in the final week means competing for whatever seats survived months of rolling decisions. With roughly eight weeks left from early October, you have time to prepare properly — but not time to waste.
How to apply
- Register on the JPMorgan Chase careers site and find the 2027 Summer Analyst posting for your region and line of business.
- Pick one program. You can usually only have one active application at a time — choose the division that matches your experience.
- Submit your resume and complete the application form. Some programs include short essay questions; they're actually read, so write them properly.
- Take the online assessment when invited — for many programs this includes Pymetrics-style games measuring cognitive traits.
- Start HireVue prep now. Invites often follow the assessment within days, and the questions reward preparation. Record yourself answering once — most people are shocked how bad the first take sounds.
What happens after you apply
Online application → online assessment (often game-based) → HireVue video interview → superday → offer. The HireVue typically covers behavioral questions plus "why JPMorgan, why this division" motivation questions — have a real answer, not a script. Superdays are half-day events with multiple interviews, sometimes including a case or technical component depending on the division. Decisions can come within days of the superday.
